Love it or hate it, Valentine’s Day is on its way and love is all around. Except… some of us still might not be able to find a store-bought card that both expresses and represents the love in our lives.
So, inspired by the spirit of #LoveIsLove, this year we’ve decided to partner with Wednesday Holmes, a London-based illustrator, designer, writer and queer community organiser, to create five beautiful Valentine’s cards that can be downloaded and printed from our website.
Wednesday said:
"It's a sweet project and I had a lot of fun painting such joyful characters - especially as the majority are Queer and Trans! Happy Valentine's Day folks!"
We are particularly excited and honoured to work with Wednesday, as they have received worldwide recognition for their artistic contributions for the queer community online. Wednesday’s work has also been exhibited at the V&A in London and Heller Gallery in New York, and focuses on non-binary and non-gender-conforming art.

But don’t be fooled by Wednesday’s sweet, fun characters – these cards have a very powerful meaning. In a time where connecting with others in any way we can and expressing our feelings is so necessary, sharing, sending and feeling love is essential. And feeling seen in our love is incredibly important. Something as simple as printing and sending one of these beautiful cards sends a powerful message – that #LoveIsLove. So, be part of a bigger expression of love this Valentine’s Day – send one (or all five!) of Wednesday’s wonderful designs to someone who could use a little extra love right now.
Because, as the famous quote goes “The only thing we never get enough of is love; and the only thing we never give enough of is love.”
