Fiori – a modern interior décor with a historical touch

In just a few years, the Norwegian city of Moss has become a role model for other cities and towns in growth. From being a place characterized by the wood processing industry, it is now an urban small town a stone's throw from Oslo. A city that more and more people are discovering and falling for. Something people like Ida Svenungsson and Anette Bragvin can take a lot of credit for. In the middle of the center of Moss, they run a little gem of a flower shop that could easily be found in Paris, London or Copenhagen. They have managed the feat of moving a bit of Central European metropolitan culture into the small town. A place where, in addition to flowers, you can buy both exclusive chocolate and tea – to name a few.

At first glance, it's remarkable how Ida and Anette have managed to craft something so unique. The two young women credit their success to local support, unwavering determination, and Canon's support. Drawing from their shared vision, Ida has created stunning illustrations that have become the cornerstone of the store's cohesive visual identity.

"With the help of the advertising agency Texas, PS Press Reklame and Canon, a dream has become a reality. Conceptual thinking, creativity and modern technology have created a unique store experience," says Anette Bragvin.

The Fiori House project in Moss masterfully combined historical preservation with modern design, utilizing Canon’s advanced large-format printing technology to create custom ceiling designs, bespoke packaging, and unique decorative elements that reflect Fiori's modern yet historically inspired aesthetic. The Colorado UVgel roll-to-roll printer and Arizona LED-UV true flatbed printer were instrumental in producing a wide range of applications, including wallpaper, wrapping paper, labels, acoustic boards, stained glass, flooring, and intricate prints on mirrors and glass.

A standout feature was the custom glass ceiling made from LEXAN sheets, complemented by custom brass fittings and meticulous craftsmanship. These visually stunning applications not only reinforced the shop's brand identity but also enhanced the customer experience by creating a visually immersive environment, setting Fiori apart from traditional flower shops.

This successful project highlights the potential of integrating modern printing techniques with historical architecture to create something truly special, demonstrating how printing technology can enhance the retail experience and boost business.
