Founded in 1969 by Jacques Glénat, Glénat is a French publishing house specialising in comics, manga and fine books.

Challenges for Glénat Publishing: maintaining consistent quality and managing production peaks

The imagePRESS V900 is controlled by Canon PRISMA software and finishing is enhanced with a DUPLO laminator. Using this configuration, Glénat Editions produces media to promote the work of designers at comic book conventions, printing signed bookplates that require impeccable quality or promoting their offering to bookstores with very high-quality catalogues.

Another innovative application is to produce previews of upcoming comics or mangas, which will be given to the sales team to present to bookstores, who in turn can select them before their release.

"We have a relationship of trust with Canon, with whom we have been partners for 10 years"

Julien Baleria, Production Manager at Editions Glénat.
