Business processes varied in different countries and a lot of important tasks were being executed manually. The digitalisation and automation of critical business workflows was necessary. TUI Musement's main goal was to reduce manual work, repetitive tasks and ensure process consistency across countries. With an optimised and straightforward solution, Canon won the project.

Key requirements:

• Automation: all cases would be automatically forwarded to the appropriate person
• Speed: document digitalisation, sharing and archiving would expedite processes
• Document safety: digital versions minimize risk of loss and enable access management and change tracking
• Expense control: form checking for financial limitations, deviations automatically detected

TUI Musement utilised Canon's Therefore document management system. It all started in 2018 when they discovered a significant pain point in the company - employee expense management.

At first, TUI Musement needed secure remote accessibility and traceability of document versions, uniform data submission, improved reporting, and compatibility with the existing system.

The successful implementation of Therefore had a positive impact achieving lower costs and increasing work efficiency of financial departments. The expense management report was only the beginning, as this project has opened doors to a global journey of digital transformation.

In just a few years, TUI Musement extended the digitalisation and automation beyond its Greek branch to more than 8 processes and over 55+ countries using Therefore.
