You can download the software from the Canon website and install it.
1. Turn on the computer.
2. Connect the computer to the Internet and access the Canon website to download the software.
3. Double-click the downloaded file to open it.
3. Double-click the extracted folder, and then double click [ksdxxxxx.exe].
If the following screen appears, click [Run].
4. Select the area in which you live.
5. Select the country where you live, and then click [Next].
6. Select your language.
7. Click [Easy Installation] to automatically install all the software applications.
To choose individual software applications to install, click [Custom Installation].
8. Close all other open applications and click [OK].
9. The following screen will appear. Click [Install].
If you previously selected [Custom Installation], append the desired application with a check, and then click [Next].
10. Read the license agreement and if you agree to the terms, click [Yes] to begin the installation.
If you do not select [Yes], it will not be possible to install the software.
11. Click [Yes] if the following screen appears.
12. Installation begins and the below screen is displayed.
13. Click [Next].
14. The following screen appears. In this example, [No, I will register later.] has been selected, and [Next] has been clicked.
To register your camera on CANON iMAGE GATEWAY, select [Yes, I would.], and complete the registration procedure.
15. Click [OK].
16. Click [Finish].
This concludes the procedure for downloading and installing software.
Please note that the camera must be connected to the computer prior to starting EOS Utility. For more information on connecting the camera to a computer, please refer to the camera’s instruction manual.
