Canon participates in packaging recycling schemes and helps finance the collection and recycling of packaging waste. This is in line with the European Union Directive on Packaging and Packaging Waste (2004/12/EC) and local regulations (including The Producer Responsibility Obligations (Packaging Waste) Regulations 2007 and The Packaging (Essential Requirements) Regulations 2015 in UK) in the countrieswhere we have national sales organisations.
